A fantastic new adventure playground has just opened in Australia at The Paddocks, Para Hills West. The new playground is part of The Paddocks Reserve Masterplan by the City of Salisbury and features a Yalp Sona Interactive dance and play arch installed by our partners, Lark Industries.
The Yalp Sona Interactive dance and play arch, where audio-guided games are played in motion, is truly inclusive and transcends age, physical and emotional barriers. Not only does it look super cool and modern, but the Sona is also durable, extremely robust, resistant to vandalism, and easy to maintain. It works intuitively: if you walk under the bow, it will immediately ask you if you want to play a game! The bow contains a motion sensor that reacts accurately to movements on the dance floor. All electronics are safely housed in the steel frame of the Sona. The 4m x 4m play floor is freely accessible (even with a wheelchair), and several children can play on it at the same time.
The Sona is fun for the whole family and is designed to keep kids, parents, and grandparents moving and having fun together!

Since the day of installation in March 2022, the Sona has been played for over 400 hours!
All the Yalp Interactive playsets can be connected to the internet giving the users even more possibilities.
For example, with the My Yalp online tool/platform where product owners can manage their interactive playset, find and download game content, and see how well your product performs.
